kidpower! Science Playground
New York Hall of Science
New York City

An exhibit about science that teaches young children about physics without using words. Mayor Michael Bloomberg selected kidpower! as one of New York City’s 10 best-designed projects.

“The Hall builds a Newtonian fun park. The largest science playground in the western hemisphere has exhibits which are larger than their indoor counterparts. Slides and teeter-totters merge play with the discipline of physics. The playground received high marks, particularly when compared with traditional science classes.”
