Originally founded to provide relief to Cambodian refugees, Mercy Corps now provides long-term development to overcome poverty, injustice and oppression. Today, the mission is to help people be the agents of their own transformation. To better present this, there was a need for a new visual brand. The revitalized identity draws on a new tagline: Be the change. The brushstrokes of the new symbol combine to form a growing plant or flower, an angel or a person with outstretched arms, evoking freedom, independence and transformation.
