To continue to foster innovation and progress in the New Year, C&G Partners has made a donation to the ONE School portfolio program for a second year on behalf of our staff, clients, and collaborators. Launched by The One Club for Creativity, the free professional development program lowers barriers to jobs in the industry for Black creatives.
Designed to give a new generation of Black creatives access to the industry’s best talent, ONE School’s intensive 16-week program has come a long way since its inception in 2020. Last year, women made up 65% of the over 100 Black creatives the ONE school prepared for the industry. Their 83% hiring rate led to graduate placements in top-tier agencies and brands including R/GA, Droga5, Spotify, Squarespace, and others.
Graduates working in creative departments across the country are also receiving industry recognition. Recent graduate Chris Davis contributed to Google’s renowned “Black Owned Friday” film at BBH that featured 100 products from 50 Black-owned businesses.
The ONE School now runs programs in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Chicago, with international cohorts in the planning stage. The strong alumni network continues to return to support the school and its new students.
C&G Partners is proud to continue our sponsorship of the program for a second year, joining a list that includes Adobe, AdWeek, Capital One, P&G, and Google.
