The Nasdaq facility at Times Square, originally named MarketSite, housed interactive exhibits about finance and trading, but after 9/11 the public function closed down. C&G Partners was brought in to help turn the large atrium into a pre-show space for executives coming to open the market each morning on national television. In the final project, a series of data visualizations of real-time market intelligence are embedded in the architecture. Unlike typical financial displays, these are ambient and move grandly and gracefully, in keeping with the executive atmosphere of the space.
